Share Data Sources​

Expanded sharing functionality beyond Query Diff Workflows to include data sources. Users can now share data sources with other users within the system for controlled access to data exploration.

Shared Access Includes:

  • Metadata exploration
  • Object data viewing
  • Graph visualization
  • List items browsing

Delete Shared Resources​

Enhanced resource deletion with permission-based controls for shared workflows and data sources.

Deletion Types:

  • Owner Deletion: Removes resource for all users with access
  • Shared User Deletion: Removes access only for the deleting user, others retain access

⚡ Enhancements​

Delete Workflow Protection​

Active scheduled workflows are now protected from deletion in SmartDiff. Users must stop the scheduled workflow before deletion to prevent accidental removal of running processes.

Process:

  1. Stop scheduled workflow in Scheduler
  2. Delete workflow in SmartDiff

Deployment​

# Pull the latest Docker image
docker pull datadios:v1.5.0

Limitations​

Shared Data Source Scope: Currently limited to data source list items and explorer only. SQL editor and SmartDiff functionality not available with shared data sources in this release.

Workflow Deletion: Scheduled workflow deletion currently requires stopping in Scheduler first. Direct deletion from Scheduler page planned for future release.
