Configuration

The new Manage → Configuration page has two tabs: USS and Queue.

USS

The USS tab configures Universal Semantic Search for the tenant. It is the default tab at /manage/configuration.

Configuration options

  • Search Type: Choose Full Text Search, Semantic Search, or Hybrid Search.
  • Modules: Select the modules that should be indexed and searched.
  • There is no AI field. Semantic and hybrid search embed with the source bound to AI · reasoning in Manage → Integrations: its USS override, or the global default. Full text search needs none.
  • Queue data source: Optionally select a registered source whose category is Queue. If None is selected, USS uses the tenant's default queue.
  • Users: Select the users who can use USS. This field is available to administrators.

Select Register to enable USS with the selected settings. After registration, the tab shows Registered for Universal Semantic Search; manage per-user access on the Users page.

Queue

The Queue tab configures the tenant's default queue for the Entity Catalog. It is directly linkable at /manage/configuration?tab=queue.

  • The picker lists registered data sources whose category is Queue. The default default_pgmq_ds source is selected when available.
  • Select a queue and choose Save to change the tenant default.
  • Only the tenant's primary administrator can change this setting. Other users can view the setting but cannot save it.
  • Queue sources can be browsed from Data Explorer to inspect PGMQ queues and messages.
