Workload Graphs Reference Overview
This section provides a complete reference for every workload graph, metric calculation, and resource visualization available in Performance Analyzer for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and supported database engines in dd-ui.
Available Graphs & Metrics
1. Wait Event & Database Load Graphs
- Load By Waits: Stacked timeline of average active session load by wait event category.
- Load By Waits (Database): DBLoad grouped by target database instance.
- Load By Waits (Host): DBLoad grouped by client host IP or hostname origin.
- Load By Waits (BackendType): DBLoad categorized by worker process role (client backend, autovacuum).
- Load By Waits (Application): DBLoad grouped by application connection name.
- Load By Waits (User): DBLoad grouped by database user role.
2. Query Performance & Execution Runtimes
- Max Time Consuming Queries: Queries ranked by single-execution peak runtime.
- Top Queries Execution Time: Queries ranked by cumulative total runtime across all executions.
- Query Total Calls & Daily DB Load: Query call volume rankings and daily execution trends.
3. Storage & IO Telemetry
- Daily Storage & Schema Details: Daily storage size growth and schema-level utilization.
- IO Activity Tables: Top tables ranked by total, read, and write disk block operations.
