- Expand the Workload menu on the left sidebar and click on Extract menu item.
- In the viewport, click on the + EXTRACT WORKLOAD button on the top right corner.
- In the new view, a suite of buttons appear listing available data sources.
- Select data source
QuickStartPostgres or QuickStartMySQL or the data source of your choice.
- Now click on the START EXTRACTION button in the bottom right corner.
- Revisit step 1 to see a list with the name of the data source you selected for workload extraction.
- Click on the Workload Analyzer button in
DETAILS column.
- A new view appears with various workload metrics and charts.
- There is a Refresh Data button right next to the date range selector to fetch latest data.
Date Range Selector
- In the top right corner of the view, a date range selector control is visible.
- Click on it to see a calendar popup.
- You will see several pre-determined date ranges such as:
- Last Hour
- Last 12 Hours
- Last 24 Hours
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 2 Weeks
- Last 4 Weeks and more.
- Clicking on say Last 24 Hours will fill the calendar text box with:
- Start Date: Yesterday's date
- End Date: Current date
- The page refreshes in order to fetch data according to the time period selected.
- You can choose which graph to view by clicking on the menu icon (a box with three horizontal lines) in the top right corner of each chart.
