DataDios User Profile

Overview​

The User Profile section in DataDios provides users with comprehensive access to their account information, configuration settings, and account management features. This guide covers all aspects of profile management, from viewing personal information to updating configurations and managing account.

Accessing Your Profile​

  1. Login to DataDios: Navigate to https://prod.datadios.com/ and log in with your credentials
  2. Locate User Icon: Look for your user avatar and username in the top-right corner of the screen
  3. Open Dropdown: Hover over the user avatar, it will open a dropdown menu
  4. Select Profile: Click on "Profile" from the dropdown options

Profile Information Display​

The profile page displays comprehensive user information in a clean, organized layout:

Personal Information​

  • First Name: User's first name (e.g., "Jhon")
  • Last Name: User's last name (e.g., "Doe")
  • Email: Primary email address (e.g., "jhon.doe@datadios.ai")

Account Details​

  • User ID: Unique system identifier (e.g., "JhonDoe57")
  • Tenant ID: Organization/tenant identifier (e.g., "DefaultTenant")
  • Row ID: Database row identifier (e.g., "52")
  • User ID Sequence Number: Sequential user number (e.g., "57")

Authentication Information​

  • Auth ID: Authentication provider identifier
  • Login Type: Authentication method (e.g., "basic")
  • Is Private Cloud: Cloud deployment status (e.g., "No")
  • Workspace ID (ws_id): Workspace identifier (shows "-" if not applicable)

Profile Management Features​

1. Update Configuration​

The "UPDATE CONFIGURATION" feature allows users to customize their personal preferences:

Available Settings:​

  • Date Format: Choose between different date display formats
    • Default: MM/DD/YYYY
    • Options: Various international date formats ("YYYY/MM/DD", "DD/MM/YYYY")
  • Time Format: Select time display preference
    • Default: HH:mm:ss
    • Options: 12-hour or 24-hour formats
  • Timezone: Set your local timezone
    • Default: UTC
    • Options: All major timezones worldwide ("PST", "EST" etc)

How to Update Configuration:​

  1. Click the "UPDATE CONFIGURATION" button
  2. Modify your preferred settings in the configuration modal
  3. Click "SUBMIT" to save changes
  4. Click "CANCEL" to discard changes

2. Change Password​

The "CHANGE PASSWORD" feature provides secure password management:

Password Change Process:​

  1. Click the "CHANGE PASSWORD" button
  2. Enter your current password in the "Old Password" field
  3. Enter your new password in the "New Password" field
  4. Confirm your new password in the "Confirm New Password" field
  5. Click "UPDATE PASSWORD" to save the new password

  • Password Validation: Ensures new password is differen than current password
  • Confirmation Field: Shows erros if new and confirm passwords don't match
  • Old Password Verification: Confirms user identity before allowing changes
  • Forgot Password Link: Available for password recovery if needed

3. Account Deletion​

The "DELETE" feature provides account management options:

Account Deletion Process:​

  1. Click the "DELETE" button
  2. Review the deletion confirmation dialog
  3. Choose appropriate action based on account status

Account Deletion Rules:​

  • Shared Resources Check: System verifies if user has shared resources
  • Deletion Prevention: Accounts with shared resources cannot be deleted
  • Disable Option: Alternative to deletion for accounts with shared resources
  • Confirmation Required: Multiple confirmation steps prevent accidental deletion

Account Status Messages:​

  • "Account Cannot Be Deleted": Appears when user has shared resources
  • "You have some shared resources": Explains why deletion is not allowed
  • "The account cannot be deleted, however you can disable it": Provides alternative action
  • "DISABLE" Button: Allows account deactivation instead of deletion
